This was a redundant country Church of England parish church which has been rescued from dilapidation by visionary owners who have transformed it into a holiday retreat of the highest quality. They have done so without compromising the integrity of the building yet now offer high quality accommodation for discerning visitors to the beautiful part of Northumberland national park. We were shown around by one of the owners on a special visit arranged for us. Bedrooms are comfortable with en suite facilities. Under the stunning stained glass east window is a large comfortable lounge area with log burner while upstairs is an extensive kitchen diner. The church is surrounded by the churchyard which is open and still owned by the Church of England. Outside seating is restricted to the small but ample car park. Highly recommended for long or short stays.

Fantastic ambience, the church has been fitted out too the highest order. Ideally located for visiting Hadrian's Wall and Kielder Water. My only gripe is that the garden is not directly adjacent to the church.

Excellent well appointed property. We stayed in the Coach House. Beautifully renovated. Huge garden with shared access to tennis court. Welcome pack included cake and wine. Fluffy bathrobes, open fire, BBQ facilities. Huge kitchen with Aga. Friendly owners. Superb location. Love this property.

Superb - recommended. Really high standard of accomodation and lots of little extras like tea and cake upon arrival, milk in the fridge. We were a party of 4 couples and had a great time.

Lovely and well restored church. The flooring needs something as it's very noisy when trying to sleep!
